Benni Vander has been an emerging force in the Ontario music industry since finishing high school in 2012. His perfect blend of style and energy grabs attention in venues of every size. He can take endless requests for timeless songs, impress music aficionados with his dynamic jazz-influenced piano and guitar style, or offer something completely fresh in his contagious original music.
His role as keyboardist for fellow Prince Edward County native Miss Emily has led to Benni sharing the stage with members of The Tragically Hip, Spin Doctors, Glorious Sons, TheTrews, the Guess Who, George Thoroughgood, Chilliwack, Kim Mitchell, Big Sugar, Tom Cochrane, Larry Gowan, and Randy Bachman. Benni and the Miss Emily crew have recently been plunged into the summer festival circuit, and they are quickly moving up. In 2019 they played Montreal Jazz Fest for 5000 people. That same year, nearly 2500 people showed up for the band’s Sunday morning time slot at Kitchener Blues Fest, surpassing the capacity of the venue. Emily’s efforts in 2019 won her national recognition and three Maple Blues Awards. Benni’s 2021 shows bring unreleased original music and a slew of covers ranging from Elton John to Brittany Spears.

Karlo Estates invested in the award-winning Lennox Pure Air UV filter system from Lloyds Heating & Cooling, which kills over 90% of airborne viruses and removes 99.9% of all airborne particles. Social bubbles will be seated 6ft apart and appropriate hygiene measures will be taken.
Contact tracing will be done at the front door. Guests will be asked to wear a mask while in our building unless they are seated, eating, and drinking. Please be prepared to show ID and proof of double vaccination to come into the building as per Hastings Prince Edward Health Department regulations stipulate.
