Help us celebrate Pride month by joining us in our Speakeasy for a performance-packed “Drag Show Friday” featuring Kinky Karaoke every 2nd Friday, this month hosted by drag performance artist, Qaptian Kit, who will keep you on your toes with singing, dancing and lots of good laughs.
If you perform, you’ll have a chance to win raffle prizes of Sunday Bubble Brunch tickets for 2, a five-flight tasting for 6, or silver tray cheese and charcuterie service.

Kit is a trans-nonbinary drag performer, poet, and presenter living in Toronto and Grey Bruce County. They are a coordinator and facilitator of evolving youth programming, performing and producing artist, mentor, and advocate curating safe spaces in person and online. Having trained as a Triple Threat in Toronto at the Randolph College for the Performing Arts, they perform as their alter-ego Qaptain online and onstage with style and spectacle; notably at Gladday Bookshop (the world’s oldest LGBTQ bookstore) Buddies in Bad Times Theatre and on some of Toronto's largest Pride stages solo and as part of Rebel Gen (2019 Absolut Empires Ball Champions)
They have also appeared onstage in musical and theatrical productions in various roles including Frank N Furter (Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Medley), Yitzhak (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Lower Ossington Theatre), Ursula (The Little Mermaid, Bathurst St Theatre), and as three-time Dora-nominated role of Long John Silver (Treasure Island, Solar Stage Children’s Theatre)
They are currently working with artistic youth and rural artists, and are developing innovative programming with Queer/Trans focus with Grey Bruce Pride, Express Voice Studio, and Rural Arts organizations funded by the Canada Arts Council, Trillium Foundation and Ontario Council of the Arts.
