Sat. AM Yoga at the Bridge

  • Karlo Estates 561 Danforth Road Prince Edward, ON, K0K 3L0 Canada (map)

Enjoy yoga outside at our dry stone bridge with 93 acres for social distancing.

Led by Jeff Phinney, partner in Serendipity Yoga.

In this Hatha practice, postures will be practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition and ease of movement. Full-body relaxation and balance are the goals, as we make a full circuit of the body's range of motion with standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, and hip openers. All practices will be suitable for every body and everybody.

Jeff loves active classes and tries to strike a balance between vigorous and more laid-back yoga. His hope is that classes are relaxed and fun while also being focused and precise. Jeff wants to encourage students to move at their own pace and work slowly toward more challenging yoga poses.
Jeff’s yoga teaching style draws on several types of yoga, including Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga. His main teaching style, though, is rooted in a breath-based Hatha practice.

$15.00 drop-in fee to be paid in cash directly to Jeff or be e-transfered to serendipityasana(at)gmail.com

After class, go up to the winery to enjoy a wine tasting, wine by the glass or plant-based cheese and charcuterie. All of our offerings are always 100% vegan. Reservations are suggested.

*Be sure to bring your own Yoga mat as well as a bottle of water and hand towel.

All COVID protocols will be in place for everyone’s safety.

  • Karlo took advantage of the four distinct ‘pods’ in the ‘T’ layout of the Wine Lounge and separated them with curtains, treating each sitting area like a modern hospital room with its own fresh air feed and balanced return so it helps to isolate the pods from each other.

  • Karlo invested in the award-winning Lennox Pure Air UV filter system from Lloyds Heating & Cooling, which kills over 90% of airborne viruses and removes 99.9% of all airborne particles.

  • Social bubbles kept 6 feet apart.

  • Guests must travel in social bubbles for admission until we hear otherwise from the Premier.

  • Guests will be asked to sterilize hands and wear a mask while in the barn unless seated for eating and drinking or outside while socially distanced.

  • We will continue to keep contact tracing records so please have your party come prepared with a list of all guests including first and last name, email and cell phone number.

  • We will continue to brief guests on house rules and screen them for COVID symptoms at check in.

  • We have a one way walk through the barn.

  • Reservations are recommended.
