The Worldwide Launch Party for Sextus 2020 and the celebration of the world’s first Sextus… the 2018 vintage. If you purchased either vintage, or registered as Sextus purchasers’ guests, you are invited to celebrate with kindred enthusiasts at Karlo EstatesWinery at 6:00PM, on the sixth day of the sixth month this year.

You will be greeted with a glass of our 2021 Bubble and canapés created by Chef Bailey Kennedy. Once everyone has gathered, we’ll go down to our production building for a special tour and tasting for you and many wine experts. Our Executive Winemaker, the celebrated Derek Barnett, and the other half of our Dynamic Duo, Winemaker, Spencer Mayer will be showing how this team managed to be awarded 23 Gold Medal scores in just one 12 month period.

Afterwards, guests will be entertained with live music by the County’s consummate showman, Cousin Gibbard Suede accompanied by more good eats by Chef Bailey Kennedy.

Over a dozen different wines will be available for purchase by the glass.

At the end of the night you can pick up your pre-purchased 2020 Sextus bottles and more (if still available) and of course any 2018 bottles not already picked up.

Also, our Rare Finds Wine Library will for the first time be open to the public and featuring tastings going back to our very first vintage; 2008.

Vintner, Sherry Karlo, and Partner, Saxe Brickenden will also be on hand to celebrate with you and answer your questions about any of our wines.
